Title: President
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day to day functions of business
- Create a weekly task list designating due dates and assignments for each vice president
- Work with Finance to develop a budget for each semester and future projections
- Approve changes regarding website, hosting, and information technology
- Facilitate monthly organizational meetings in conjunction with the VP of HR
- Monitor monthly sales figures as they compare to goals and projections
- Attend departmental meetings at least once a month
- Attend weekly VP and administrative meetings
- Attend meetings every two weeks with organization’s advisors
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational skills and a understanding of organizational structure
- Clear ability to communicate with students, faculty, and staff on various issues
- Strong ability to provide direction, guidance, and goals for the organization and its members
- Time management skills for balancing various commitments
- Willingness to reach out to advisors and other resources for help

Title: Editor-in-Chief
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Publish content onto the website
- Create a draft list of articles to be written and assign them to staff writers in conjunction with the Vice President of Editing
- Facilitate each writers’ preparation for articles including interviews, “news angle,” and contacts
- Communicate with the President regarding overall function of business
- Responsible for physical layout and coordination of all print issues and online issues
- Responsible for holding regular meetings with the content staff
- Attend weekly VP and administrative meetings
- Attend meetings every two weeks with organization’s advisors
Qualifications:
- Strong writing and editing skills
- Ability to clearly communicate tasks and deadlines to writing staff
- Creative ability to generate article ideas and layout design
- Organized and capable of meeting deadlines
Hours: 5 per week
Hourly Pay Rate: $9.00
Title: Vice President of Editing
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Create a draft list of articles to be written and assign them to staff writers in conjunction with the Editor-in-Chief
- Edit each article and communicate any changes to the writer in a timely manner
- Create a weekly task list designating due dates and assignments for each member of the Content Department
- Upload each article to the website so that in can be published by the Editor-in-Chief
- Responsible for attending regular meetings with the content staff
- Attend weekly VP meetings
Qualifications:
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to communicate with both the Editor-in-Chief and the writers regarding articles
- Strong ability to provide direction and guidance for the articles
- Willingness to reach out to writing resources center and other areas for help
- Attract new viewers to site which may include advertising, running contests, commercials, etc.
- Work to ensure other campus organizations are using the calendar, site, Daily Log, and other technologies provided by the organization
- Determine the effectiveness of the various marketing tactics
- Attend events on campus to help market the organization
- Create a weekly task list designating due dates and assignments for each member of the Marketing Department

- Responsible for editing and posting all multimedia in conjunction with the members of the IT staff
- Work closely with Editor-in-Chief to place all content online
- Update calendar on a weekly basis to include the most current information

- Maintain a relationship with current p-card holder or account manager
- Manages budgets for all aspects of the business including departmental spending
